About
This is my life’s work.
It took some time to find the thing that makes me feel the most like me. Now, the path ahead is clear. I’m just a woman in a studio, but the art is all of us. My woven works share stories of motherhood and vulnerability. You can count on these pieces to be bold, maximalist, and notably feminist—exploring the power of fiber to both comfort and evoke. I often work with found and recycled materials, and incorporate my own small-batch handspun yarns.
Where I work
I live in the East Bay, CA, and teach beginning weaving workshops in the greater Bay Area.
Education
Mills College, MFA, Poetry 2006.
California Polytechnic State University, BA, English 2003.
Collaborations + Commissions
I occasionally create custom work for clients.

Let’s talk weaving.
Hi. Send me a note. Sign up for the newsletter. Tell me what you’re working on. Would you like to collaborate. What’s a dreamy piece of art you love. The last art show you saw. We’ll warp + weft like pillow talk. Oh you have embroidery tips? What loom do you work on?
Let’s go.
